This Ramadhan, Allah is teaching me about sincerity
BismiLlahirRahmaanirRahiim

Ramadhan Kareem everyone
Its never too late to set your targets :
how you want to be seen when you meet Allah that day

Absence makes the heart grow sour ...

“Will you call upon other than Allah if you are truthful?” (6:40)

“Those whom you call besides Allah are slaves like yourselves” (7:194)

“And those who you ask besides Him can neither come to your aid, nor can they help themselves!” (7: 197)

“Who else is there that responds to the call of the one in distress when he calls out, and He removes evil from him, and makes you inheritors of the earth ? Is there any other God besides Allah? Little is it that you remember!” (27:62)

Please make me stronger to finish this!

Kak M: How are you these days, Husna?

Husna: Kak M, I'm more engrossed with worldly affairs than the Hereafter :'( (I hate this!)

Kak M: MashaAllah, alhamduliLlah, that is good! Because you are doing it for Allah's sake

* I feel like crying when she said that because when you do something for Allah; in the end, you will get closer to Him. I hope so! Even though it does involve managing an airline-themed dinner to be successful yet immorality free

The time that we spend on various activities reflects our priority and love for each of those activities. For those of us who exhibit that behavior, Allah says the following:

“Say: If it be that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your mates, or your kindred; the wealth that you have gained; the commerce in which you fear a decline: or the dwellings in which you (seek) delight – are dearer to you than Allah, or His Messenger, or the striving in His cause; then wait until Allah brings about His decision: and Allah guides not the rebellious” (Sura At-Taubah: 24).

Worth Striving For

Assalamu'alaykum wbt,

Sweeet conversation with my supervisor:

Dr. K: Don't worry, it's not that difficult - though initially it may look complicated. but that's only normal. new things that we learn will always appear difficult initially - but it gets better as we put in more effort.

Dr. K: Yup, so don't be afraid. It's part of tarbiyah from Allah to strengthen and reward us for our efforts. Otherwise, how can He reward us if it's so easy, right? A little struggle is good for us :)

Dr. K: I'm going to sign off - time for bed! I have an early session tomorrow morning. If you want talk to me tomorrow, I'm free from 11am to 2pm. Masa tu ada break in the workshop. May Allah make your interview smooth and easy. Stay calm!
